Quiz Competition at GSS Jikwoyi (Commemorating International Condom Day)

Although early, OROL Youth Empowerment Initiative in collaboration with AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) Nigeria organized a Quiz competition for the HIV Club members in Government Secondary School, Jikwoyi on 6^th Feb., 2015 to commemorate International condom day.

The questions for the quiz was focused on HIV/AIDS prevention and other sexual reproductive health issues; as well as life skills tools in the Peer Education Plus Picture Code manual. The program started at 11:20am and was held at in Staff Room 1 with the member s of the HIV/AIDS club and their club advisor Mrs Margaret.

In attendance to facilitate the quiz was OROL’s Opeyemi Agbaje and Kemi Gbadamosi from AHF  and also OROL’s John Dolapo and Kazeem Bakare to help coordinate the students.

With opening remarks and introductions out of the way, the competition began with the students grouped into teams A  & B comprising of four students each, Elizabeth Duile and Victoria Amucher from AHF, who was the moderator, began asking the students questions.

The rules of the competition was simple, each group was to choose a number, the question will be read aloud, the group will be given an opportunity to answer.
