With program satellite operations in both Lagos and Abuja, we have continued to work within our means to fill in societal humanitarian and health needs where needed and necessary. Some of our activities from the past year include: a candlelight memorial service in honor of those we have lost to HIV/AIDS; sensitization and philanthropic visits to orphanages and schools of the disabled, with both goodwill messages and HIV prevention messages; community awareness campaigns and an AIDS 2012 Conference Hub in Abuja sponsored by the International AIDS Society, observation of World Aids Day 2012 and 2013 OROL has also had a visible presence at health and development meetings and conferences both within the nation, and internationally, e.g. ICASA 2011, AIDS 2012, UNGA etc
Since its inception, OROL has garnered the support, and acknowledgement of the following organizations: Nigeria Export and Import Bank (NEXIM), Access Bank, Association of Reproductive and Family Health (ARFH), Pact Nigeria, Society for Family Health, Management Sciences for Health (MSH), National Youth Network on HIV/AIDS in Nigeria (NYNETHA), National Agency for the Control of AIDS (NACA), the Ministry of Health (HIV and AIDS Division), AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), Family Health International (FHI 360), Gede Foundation, Noble Missions for Change Initiative(NMI), Catholic Relief Services (CRS), and Global Youth Coalition on HIV/AIDS
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- World AIDS DAY 2013 In collaboration with EVA, UNFPA, NACA, ARFH
- HIV and AIDS Advocacy Campaign in Lugbe community Abuja
- Participated in the Youth Assembly Meeting at the United Nations New York 2013
- OROL was invited to participate in a workshop organized by a script writer for the MTV Staying Alive Foundation and contributed to the script-writing process for Nigeria Shuga
- OROL was involved in the AHF Abuja +12 Civil Society Advocacy walk, which took place in the City of Abuja on the 6th of July , 2013
- Peer Education training for Youth Corps members in Abuja Nigeria
- Implemented Empowerment Program for orphans and vulnerable children in Lagos ( 2010-2011)
- Implemented HIV and AIDS School Education Program in Festac town Lagos ( 2010-2011)
- Participated in the Institute of Sexuality organized by IPPF in Addis Ababa ( 2010)
- OROL advocates for inclusive programming involving people living with HIV, especially women and girls, through HIV/AIDS policy and treatment review and development around issues of treatment research and ethics.
- OROL was involved in condom training programs with UNFPA

- 28th International AIDS Candlelight memorial held in Abuja May 15 2011
- Performed and presented at the 2011 International Conference on AIDS and STIs in Africa (Ethiopia)
- Performed and presented at the AIDS 2012 Conference Washington DC
- Hosted the Abuja AIDS 2012 Conference Hub in Conjunction with International AIDS Society
- Empowerment forum, 1st UN International Day of the Girl Child, Government Secondary School, Karu, FCT
- Co-Organized the 2012 WORLD AIDS DAY event in Abuja with AHF Nigeria
- Collaborated with Double Grace Initiative to implement world class training and skills empowerment such business skills, vocational training and leadership training
